- Chosen by Voters That's an awesome idea! Sorry, I may not be very helpful but that's really a very interesting concept. I think you'd do best to both rewrite the story and point out the differences based on the cultural differences. It's been a VERY long time since I read the story, but maybe you could research the family dynamic in Chinese culture and try to relate the story to a familial crypt or something?
