Can you tell me something about the difference between Chines Culture and American culture?

That's a very broad question, and exceptionally difficult to answer. There are just so damned many facets to a given culture that a complete answer is impossible in a short space. Prime differences between American culture and Chinese culture:Americans tend to be highly individualistic. Chinese are significantly less so. Entrepreneurism is more rare per capita. American families focus on the nuclear family; parents and children. Chinese families are much more extended. (Add to this that the majority of Chinese share just 100 surnames.) Chinese have a much greater sense of history than Americans; their people's history dates to at least 2000 BC. American culture is heavily influenced by Judeo-Christian, most specifically Calvinist, theology. Chinese culture is heavily influenced by Taoism, Confuscianism, and Buddhism. In terms of diet, Chinese meals are unpossible without rice and are primarily fish and vegetable; American meals tend towards dairy (which a good number of Chinese have difficulty with) and red meat. This is just the slightest overview. 6 years ago good
